To our customers: We are sorry, but we will not be carrying Monastery Fruitcakes or any other Monastery Bakery products in the future. This is because we refused to pay for two dozen fruitcakes that we did not order or receive. After two years of letters and waiting, the Monastery still refuses to produce ligitimate invoices or tracking information or make any attempt to resolve the matter whatsoever. We feel there is something seriously wrong there.

Every world-famous Monastery Fruitcake is made from an old Southern recipe, using choice fruits and nut meats in a brandy-laced batter. The Brothers add a generous measure of fine sherry wine. After slow and gentle baking, each cake is laced with traditional brandy and topped with a honey glaze. These delicious fruitcakes are made by the Trappist Monks of Holy Cross Abbey, each cake is sealed in cellophane and packaged in a decorative tin.

Cake ingredients: Cherries (color added), Pineapple, Unbleached Flour, Raisins, Sugar, Walnuts, Whole Eggs, Pecans, Dates, Brandy, Wine, Papaya, Butter, Lemon and Orange Peel, All-Vegetable Shortening (soybean and cottonseed oils), Honey, Pineapple Juice, Non-Fat Dry Milk, Water, Fine Flavorings and Spices, Salt, Baking Powder, Calcium Propionate and Sulfur Dioxide added as a preservatives.
Will stay fresh for many months in a cool place.
